DR. GABBY MADDOX
Veterinarian
Dr. Gabby Maddox received her DVM degree in 2017 from Purdue University following the completion of a bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania. She is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania but has lived in Indiana since attending veterinary school. She has worked in the Fort Wayne area since graduating but joined C.C. Veterinary Hospital in January 2023. Her special interests include internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Maddox resides on the north side of Fort Wayne with her husband Kyle and their 2 dogs (Bishop and Jameson), Macaw (Blue), and Sun Conure (Skye). In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, cooking, and traveling.
KENLEY
Practice Manager
Kenley started her externship with us in October of 2015. She is a graduate of the Veterinary Technology Institute of IBC in Ft. Wayne. She started working at C.C. Vet in February of 2016 and in 2024 was promoted to Practice Manager. Kenley met her husband Schyler in 2009. They married and had their first son Liam in 2013 and her second son Bennett in 2019. They have a Lab mix (Sydney), a Golden Retriever (Groot) and 2 ferrets (Calypso and Davy Jones). Some of her hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, and mudding.
CORTNEY
Registered Veterinary Technician
Cortney joined our team in 2023. She has been in the field since March of 2016. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in February of 2016. She has a pup named Wrigley and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys playing pickleball and singing.
CASSIDY
Registered Veterinary Technician
Cassidy joined our team in October 2024, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion for animal care. A 2019 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at IBC, she has a particular interest in anesthesia, exotic medicine, and helping animals thrive.
At home, Cassidy cares for a lively household that includes four cats and two lizards. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and baking. Her dedication and diverse interests make her a valued member of our team!
KARMA
CSR/Veterinary Assistant
Karma first joined our team in 2012 and returned in 2019, quickly becoming one of the most familiar faces at the clinic—she can even recognize many of our clients by their vehicles! She is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute at IBC Fort Wayne and brings both experience and heart to every appointment.
Karma lives in Columbia City with her husband, their daughter, two lovable Irish Wolfhounds, Dolly and Millie, and a house full of cats. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing on the lake, watching movies, tackling home renovation projects, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and furry companions.
TORI
CSR/Veterinary Assistant
Tori became a valued member of our team in Fall 2024. A Columbia City native, she earned her Associate’s Degree in Medical Administration from Ivy Tech in 2017. Tori brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked in both shelter environments and veterinary practices. She is currently preparing to begin a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) program in Spring 2025.
Passionate about Stress-Free and Fear-Free patient care, Tori is dedicated to creating positive experiences for every animal she works with. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her husband, their two dogs, three cats, and running her own pet-sitting business.
SAM
CSR/Veterinary Assistant
Sam started in veterinary medicine in 2017 as a receptionist and quickly trained to become an assistant. She worked as an assistant for 4 years and then after having her second son she decided to stay at home with them. She got married to Arjun in 2016 and they have two boys named Baylor and Parker. She has two dogs: Auggie (australian shepherd mix) and Ruger (mastiff mix). In her free time she enjoys kayaking, crafting, binging Netflix and going on adventures with her husband and boys.
IZZY
Client Service Representative
Izzy first joined the C.C. Veterinary Hospital team during her senior year of high school as an intern, and we’re thrilled she decided to stay! Since the fall of 2024, she’s been a friendly and familiar face at our front desk, now serving as our Client Service Representative. Izzy is currently pursuing her degree through Purdue University’s online program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
When she’s not greeting patients or helping clients over the phone, Izzy enjoys reading and spending quality time playing games with her family. At home, she’s kept company by her energetic Australian Shepherd, Havyn.
