Dr. Laura Cox

Growing up in northern Kentucky, Dr. Laura Cox developed a fondness for animals. While attending the University of Kentucky, she worked at multiple veterinary clinics and that fondness developed into a passion for animal care and building connections with people and their pets. Dr. Cox directed that passion into her studies at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree.

Columbia City Veterinary Hospital is thrilled to have Dr. Cox as part of our talented and compassionate team. Though she enjoys the variety of general practice, her professional interests include preventative care, dermatology, and internal medicine.

Dr. Cox lives in Fort Wayne with her partner, Zane and dog, Cleo. In her free time, she enjoys fitness and outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and skiing. She also loves to read and bake.
