WHAT CAUSES BEHAVIORAL ISSUES?

Pets can have a wide variety of behavioral issues, from simple housetraining problems to severe anxiety and aggression issues. We are well qualified and experienced in diagnosing and addressing behavior problems with an approach that combines skills from veterinary clinical medicine, behavioral medicine, pet training, and fear-free techniques. Our goals are to help pets and their owners live together comfortably and safely and to help restore the bond between pets and their families.

We recently opened a facility where we personally conducts training classes, and behavior consults that use positive reinforcement, force-free training methods, including clicker training and fear-free techniques. Fear Free techniques help to reduce the stress level of your pet. This method includes non-aversive, positive reinforcement that is scientifically based and proven to support learning and make learning much more fun for your pet!

We offer several types of group classes as well as private training and behavior consultations. If your pet has any behaviors you would like to see changed, such as reacting to other dogs, separation anxiety, and chewing to more severe aggression issues, please give us a call and she can work on setting up a behavior consultation for you and your dog. If your pet is a jumper, barker, pulls on the leash, or will not come when called, she can help!

Information on adult/puppy class schedules and prices can be located on the Pet Pals website petpalscountyclub.com. Registration for these classes can take place online or by calling 260-248-7786. Feel free to leave a message, and your call with be returned.
